Custom Name Servers

Postby Tyler55336 on Wed Dec 09, 2009 8:57 pm

Alright so I have a domain with you but I don't have webhosting provided by you, I have it with someone else. But what I need is so I can add custom name servers since I have a VPS. When I try and add Custom Nameserver it doesn't work because its not submitting the form. Can you please fix this. :)

The domain is darkrai.org

Hi Tyler,

Have you a domain name server installed on your VPS account? Is it Windows or Linux? You need at least 2 servers to setup DNS, one for a primary and one for a backup.
Thanks

Did you manage to sort this out?

I've had to go through a manual process of emailing web world to change the name servers and I'm still waiting... :x

Hi Abe,

I don't see any pending requests from you. Can you PM me the domain(s) in question and I'll check it out for you.

Regards,
Del.
