htaccess

Postby simon on Thu May 13, 2010 3:40 pm

Hi, this is my first time using your service and my website went online during the week. I'm trying to create a ".htaccess" file. When I up load it to test it I'm getting the following error:

IISPassword
The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page youare trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. It is most likely that configuration files for this url are corrupted.

This comes up when I try to access the home page. I uploaded the file to my "wwwroot". I since have removed it just so my test page will display. Does your service support this file or is there an option to enalbe it?

Thanks
Simon

Hi Simon,

.htaccess files will only work on Linux servers, it looks like your on a Windows server. Let me know what your trying to do and I'll do my best to assist.
Thanks
