what do you guys think of the recent boom and bust with home prices? how bad has it affected your guys area? Ive seen some crappy homes
in crappy neighborhoods spike up two times in value about a year or so ago...

Hi Sbhoward.

This is a bit off topic so I've moved it from the shared hosting forum, but I will try to answer your question.

Dublin in an expensive city to live in, you could expect to pay between ā‚¬500,000 & ā‚¬1,000,000 for a 3 bedroom house depending on the area. you'll get a better idea on myhome.ie

In the past few years there has been a boom in the Irish economy and house prices have shot up and still continue to do so, some people speculate that this will stop very soon. For me Dublin is a great place to live and Ireland has the lowest rate of unemployment in Europe.

As an investment a house in Dublin is not such a good deal, the same priced house in London will get you double the rent, and Dublin has serious traffic issues. I'm not sure about other areas in Ireland. I hope this answers your question.
